Taman Kili-Kili Beach Trenggalek, a Place Where Hundreds of Turtle Lay Their Eggs

TIMESINDONESIA, TRENGGALEK – Not only offering its beauty, Taman Kili-Kili beach of Trenggalek also offering a wonderful scenery of turtle Conservation. Here, hundreds of turtle laid their eggs each year.

Located in  Bendogolor, Wonocoyo Village, Panggul, Trenggalek, East Java, this beautiful beach has atleast four species of turtles breed on the conservation. They are Leatherback Turtles, Hawksbill Turtles, Green Turtles, and Gray Turtles.

The turtles normally will visit this beach on May to August to lay their egg. The caretaker of the conservation will always be prepared to welcome all the turtles coming by to the beach and save their eggs.

Beside the conservation, Taman Kili-Kili with its black volcano sand also has a beautiful sunset that worth to wait. "Its a wonderful place to spend your day off with your friend or family," Haris, a local visitor said.

On the weekend, Taman Kili-Kili beach of Trenggalek will welcome lots of visitor either from local area or outside of the town. This beautiful beach which is used by the turtle to lay their egg has also been equipped with adequate public facilities such as huge parking lot and restrooms (*)
