Besemah and Pesemah Structures Need to Be Considered as World Heritage

TIMESINDONESIA, PAGARALAM – Besemah and Pesemah is the one and only megalithic ancient structures in Pagaralam. This structures also considered as the one and only in the world.

“Pesemah and Besemah are the included as the first world heritage, and the second one is Sriwijaya," DR Erwan Surya Negara said on his dissertation.

The doctor also emphasized that those who conduct a research on this megalithic structures must to conduct a research towards the local community and give them much more advantaged from it.

On his dissertation he also proposed the researcher or the management to make a miniature or fake statue of the structures so it could be visited by the local community and the real one remain saved.

"The Besemah and Pesemah megalithic ancient structures could also give more economical advantages to the local community," he added. (*)
