Peace Facilitator of Vision of Peace Awards Granted to KH Marzuki Mustamar

TIMESINDONESIA, MALANG – KH Marzuki Mustamar one of religious leader in East Java had just granted with Peace Facilitator of Vision of Peace Awards on Tuesday (28/1/2020).

The awarding night was held at Muhammadiyah University of Malang by the founder of Vision of Peace Awards Indonesia (VPAI), Demien Dematra.

“He is worth the award and now he is appointed as one of the International Peacekeepers Ambassador by US Vision of Peace," Dematra said.

Dematra bottom lined that this award will give more people encouragement and inspiration to spread more peace in the whole corner of the world.

Dematra also said that there are three main aspects that need to be underlined to achieve a good civilization i.e peace, culture and humanity.

"Spreading peace is a good deed. Either there was an award for it or not, we will keep doing it," KH Marzuki Mustamar said.

On the occasion, there were also several students that coming on the stage to achieve some award for their work. Dematra said that he will make their work into a book and let the member of UN knows about it.

Dematra as the founder of Vision of Peace Award Indonesia also said that the students and KH Marzuki Mustamar could be one role model for another people to be a peace facilitator and spread peace even only in their area. (*)
