TIMESINDONESIA, SURABAYAFour Points by Sheraton Surabaya, Pakuwon Indah bring up the traditional cuisine to be introduced in Rijsttafel style at their Djaman Doeloe Resto & Bar.

This was brought up to give their customers an exotic dining experience by tasting all the Indonesian traditional food on their table.

Rijsttafel take from Dutch means as dining table. The table will be set in European style but with whole traditional Indonesian food on top of it.

The Rijsttafel is a monthly event if the restaurant. On each of the occasion, the restaurant always brings different food to be presented to their customers.

In an occasion you could have Rawon, Rujak Cingur, Pitik Bumbu Adun and else while in another occasion you could have gado-gado, soto, rendang or some other local traditional food.

The food will be presented in a traditional way with banana leaves as the base to add the traditional atmosphere. The cutlery were also made as archaic as possible as if we were having dinner at the colonialism time.

You could take along your family with you since the dining came in package. You could have either package for 4, 6, or 8 people.
