The Massive Reog Dance in All Ponorogo Area Got a Huge Enthusiasm from the Crowd

TIMESINDONESIA, PONOROGO – Reog dance had been a very rare performance to see recently. But now, by the local government of Ponorogo initiative to held this dance every month on 11th on every of its area there will be no more difficulty to find this exotic dance.

"Reog has been a face of Ponorogo, and people usually will only find it once in a year through the annual reog festival. But now, they could see it once in a month, which is very remarkable," yhe Mayor of Ponorogo Ipong Muchlissoni said on Friday (12/7/2019).

Still according to him, 11th July 2019 had been a milestone for this reog dance to be performance monthly for the first time. He could even saw that it has become a potential event from the enthusiasm of the audience.

Most of the local citizen will tend to watch it on their area. There are also some people outside of the city who came just ti watch this massive reog performance.

"Im will make all the community work together to make this event even better next month, the reog dance performance must be better and more spectacular on every area," the Mayor of Ponorogo added. (*)
