Tuwiri Spring Water of Mojokerto has been Reopened for Public

TIMESINDONESIA, MOJOKERTO – Tuwiri Spring Water or commonly known by the local community as the Wisata pemandian Sumber Tuwiri of Mojokerto has been reopened for public after a long renovation.

This place was temporarily closed for renovation since the local community take this place-which is an ancient royal pool of Majapahit Kingdom at then-as a dumpster. This was because of the lack information get by the local community about this site.

Now, the kids could play and spend their time on this spring water since the renovation was made in a kids friendly concept. The main pool is now filled with colorful tamed fishes that will greet you and your family once you visit this place.

Hakim, a local visitor appreciates much towards what the local government has done to this place. This place has now been back to its proper usage as a pool rather than a dumpster.

"People use this place to take a bath when I was a kid. And I'm so go glad that the local government restored the main use of this pool back to where it belongs," Hakim said on Monday (18/11/2019).

He hope that the local government will put more attention to this place, and support this place by adding more attractions around the area.

"I hope there will be sustainable development on this site, so that this place could be enjoyed by the next generation. Its also a way to preserve and respect the culture," another local visitor of Mojokerto said while he visit the Sumber Tuwiri a.k.a Tuwiri Spring Water. (*)
