TIMESINDONESIA, YOGYAKARTA – When did the last time you visit a museum? Well, usually museum will look a bit creepy with all its old fashioned design and all the things in it. But Museum Benteng Vredeburg will change all your anxiety through its Vredeburg Fair.

The Vredeburg Fair which will be held for a week started from September 19th and will be ended on September 26th 2019 will show how a modern museum look likes nowadays.

"The manager of a museum should be very creative to find a way to attract their visitors. A cozy place and modern look will be the best choice for millenials nowadays," the Director of Art Kemendikbud RI Restu gunawan said.

Still according to him, a museum should be interesting from the look to the presentation so it will change the way people see a museum. It should also be able to facilitate all the visitors needs especially about the historical significance.

To achieve this goal the Museum Benteng Vredeburg is planning to hold the Vredeburg Fair regularly so it could be a venue to attach people's interest back to the museum.(*)
