Sulud Sukma Community of Blitar will Held Another Getih Getah Gula Klapa Ceremony

TIMESINDONESIA, BLITAR – The Komunitas Sulud Sukma or the Sulud Sukma Community of Blitar will held another Getih Getah Gula Klapa ceremony in Candi Simping. This event was planned to be held by November 17th 2019.

The Getih Getah Gula Klapa is a ceremony that held by the Sulud Sukma Community to commemorate the coronation day of Sri Kertarajasa Jayawardhana as the first king of Majapahit as well to celebrate the founding of the kingdom itself.

"We hope that this event could also raise the Candi Simping as a historical tourist attention to the societ, so it would bring more tourists to this site," Rahmanto Adi, the the Chief of Sulud Sukma Community said.

The event will be the third annual event after after it was held on November 17th 2017 and 2018. To make the event successful the community will cooperate with the local youth to take them to preserve the historical and cultural heritage.

"We hope that Getih Getah Gula Klapa will be an event that could conserve the local culture and hiterage in Blitar, and could entertain all the society," he added. (*)
