TIMESINDONESIA, BANYUWANGIIjen Crater or commonly known as Kawah Ijen by the local community has attracted the world's eyes with it's beautiful blue fire. And for you who doesnt want to get tired hiking to it, there are lots of ojek troli (a cart, pedicab like) prepared.

This cart which was formerly used to carry some sulfur from the crater to the ground and likewise was started to use to carry some passengers on 2015. The 3km hiking track makes the visitors easily get tired and prefer this vehicle to drive them to the crater.

"There are around 40 official carts around this area. It costs the visitors around IDR 800 for one way ticket. Another additional IDR 600 K for the steep terrain, and another IDR 300 K to go down to the entrance door," Nuri, a cart driver said.

Still according to her, she could carry 4 to 8 passenger in a day depends on the seasons. She usually will get lots of customers in the weekend either the domestic or foreign tourist.

For there are lots of foreign tourists who visits the Ijen Crater or Kawah Ijen, most of the ojek troli or cart driver are able to speak some foreign language especially English. The Blue Fire has attracked so many people around the world to visit the area especially early in the morning at 04.00 A.m. local western time.(*)
