The Kindergarten Kids Parade in Batu to Celebrate the Indonesia's Independence Day

TIMESINDONESIA, BATU – There was a folk party at Batu to celebrate the Indonesia's Independence Day. This time, it was the kindergarten kids turn to participated and joined in.

On the parade which was held on Thursday afternoon (15/8/2019), some of them wear unique custom or some traditional costumes. And some of them did a performance like dance, poetry and else along the parade.

"There were around 97 kindergarten of Batu following the parade. And atound 4500 kids joining the parade," the EO of the parade Hj Endang Wahyuni SPd MPd said.

This parade was also intended to raise the awareness and teach the kids from an early age about nationalism. Also, it was held to show the kids and their teacher's creativity on costume and performance during the parade.

This folk party which was held by the IGTKI Batu to celebrate the Indonesian Independence Day had attracted so much attention from the local community. The cute act and smile of the kindergarten kids has made this parade more exciting than ever. (*)
