Three Meters Satay in Festival Sate Ayam Setono Ponorogo? Let's Check It Out!!!

TIMESINDONESIA, PONOROGO – Thousands of skewered satay been laid on a long table at the Festival Sate Ayam Setono Ponorogo for the visitors for free. Furthermore, a 3 meters chicken satay on a skewer was laid on a table which make the Festival feel more exotic.  

The festival which was held on Sunday (14/7/2019) was participated by around 50 tukang sate (satay seller). The total amount of satay made was 2019 which symbolize the year of the Festival held.

"There is no question that sate ayam (chicken satay) Ponorogo has the best taste amongst the other chicken satay. And thus satay Festival has a big potential to attract more visitors to Ponorogo," the Mayor of Ponorogo Ipong Muchlissoni said.

Still according to him, the city has gotten a surge of visitor during the 2019 by 3 times larger than the previous year. There has been around 481.000 visitors visited the city for the last 6 months.

Meanwhile, the local community hope that the chicken satay festival could be an annual event which is held on the village. They hope that the Sate Ayam Sentono Ponorogo Festival could also raise their area image as well as the economical status. (*)
