The Mabala Cave, will be a New Tourist Destination at Sabu Raijua Island
TIMESINDONESIA, SABU RAIJUA – An untouched cave namely the Gua Mabala or Mabala Cave which is located at the Sabu Raijua island, Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) will become one new tourist destination on the island.
"This cave believed by the local community to have a mystical history. According to the folklore, there was someone with a mystical power who live in this cave at then," Nimrot Ke, a local citizen said.
Still according to him, this cave also has a spring water that has never been recede which is believed by the local community to be able to cure any disease. Some even said, that there were some well preserved skeletons of the white crocodile in that cave.
In addition, he also said that this cave has a good potential to be a tourist destination due to its mystical history beside its beauty. All the beauty including the spring water pond will make the tourist adore more to the cave.
“its good that the local government try to make this cave as a new tourist destination. Im sure Gua Mabala (Mabala Cave) will attract more visitors to come to Sabu Raijua island if the government make it even more prettier," Nimrot added. (*)
