The Provincial Government of NTB Agreed to Cooperate with Uzbekistan for Halal Tourism
This agreement is written in the Letter of Intent (LOI) signed by the Vice Governor of NTB, Dr. Hj. Sitti Rohmi Djalillah and the First Vice Director of Regional Office of Bukhara Province, Uzbekistan, Khakimov, witnessed by the Secretary of Grand Ambassador of Uzbekistan for Indonesia, Muzaffar S Abdulazimov.
“Uzbekistan and Indonesia, particularly NTB, has many things in common, such as the cultures, religions, and some vocabulary,” said the Grand Ambassador of Uzbekistan for Indonesia in Mataram, Monday (24/6/2018).
Muzaffar stated that the first step of this partnership is that Uzbekistan is going to learn about the management of halal tourism in NTB.
According to him, NTB is the best halal tourism destination in the world. That’s why, he assumes that there will be more tourists from Uzbekistan coming to Indonesia and vice versa.
“With the well-organized management in NTB, Uzbekistan could learn and apply all of the system of halal tourism management in Bukhara. We also have direct flight from Jakarta to Taskins, Uzbekistan,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Vice Governor of NTB, explained that NTB has a very great potential which can attract more investors to NTB.
Not only for vacation, but NTB is also a good investment, especially Teluk Saleh, Moyo, and Tambora, which have been nominated as the world biosphere. As a result, NTB will be more popular throughout the world.
