Nusantara Foundation is Planning to Build the Biggest Islamic Boarding School at Connecticut

TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Nusantara Foundation will build their first Islamic Boarding School in Connecticut, United States of America. The President Director of Nusantara Foundation stated their intention on a press release at Grand Syahid Hotel while opening some donation for the boarding school.

"Located on 7,5 ha area this will be the biggest Islamic boarding school in America. Our aimed is to invite all people to learn about Islam at this school and also to spread introduce Indonesia to the world," the President Director of Nusantara Foundation said, Friday (24/5/2019).

Imam Shamsi Ali added that they wanted the world to know that Indonesia which has the biggest moslems in the world should not be underrated. They also wanted to introduce the real Islam where there were only peace and smile all over the taught not the radical one.

Imam Shamsi Ali is a post graduates student of an Islamic University in Islamabad, Pakistan. He was teaching for two years in Saudi Arabia and then asked by Indonesian embassy for America to be the imam or moslem leader at New York since 1997.

His experience on 911 tragedy made him appointed as a speaker for moslems to do some dialogues about moslem with the American. Imam Shamsi Ali also hope that the Indonesian government and society would give an eye to the Nusantara Foundation plan and help them during the process of building the Islamic Boarding School in Connecticut, United States of America.
