Sleep Deprivation Could Lead to Death? How?

TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Normally people will need around 7 to 9 hour to sleep in a day. And once your sleep routine broken your body will hold several issues and you will get a sleep deprivation. Though it seems easier to be done, but practically it's so hard to do.

There are several reason that makes our body hard to rest. Some people even get insomnia, but they still managed to get some sleep in the day. But the worse case is for those who can't sleep in day or night. Work has become the main reason for this insomnia.

People who couldn't get enough sleep will feel sleepy and tired all the time. They will had some blood pressure problem either hypertension or anemia or losing some focus.

So does sleep deprivation could lead to death?

Yes! It does. How come? Well first, once you feel sleepy you will lose your focus. And lots of death by car accident was caused by this reson. It's the effect of micro sleeping that happens to our body from exhausted.

Second, it could lead to a rare condition named fatal familial insomnia (FFI). This condition will lead to worse insomnia, losing lots of body weight, bad appetite, body temperature changing, and could lead to brain damage.

So, having a good sleeping time in necessarily needed. It will help to maintain our health. And keep us away from severe problems or disease. So make sure your away from sleep deprivation cause it is very dangerous and could lead you to death.(*)
