TIMESINDONESIA, MALANG – The Hotel Tugu or Tugu Hotel Malang collaborated with Talamonti Wine held a pairing experience at their Ban Lam Wine Shop & Bar Hotel Tugu Malang, Tuesday night (23/04/19).

"We have the Talamonti in our bar, and now we exclusively invited Salvatore Campione to educate the guests about the wine itself, wine is a perfect match for Indonesian food like gado-gado for instance," General Manager Tugu Property Jakarta, Andy Guy said.

Salvatore Campione as the Selling director of Hireca and Somelier explained that those who never taste a wine better should be starting from the sweet wine first, like the rose wine, then take to the stronger one.

"For a light taste of food, you better pair it with light or sweet wine, where for a stronger taste of food it's good for you to choose the stronger wine," Salvatore added.

Salvatore also said that all wine is actually white, but they added the dark grape skin in to it to make it white and soaked it in for about 10 hours. And around 10-15 days to get the rose color on the wine.

The wine pairing experience at Hotel Tugu or Tugu Hotel Malang ended with the presentation of 2017 Talamonti Trebi Trebbiano d' Abruzzo paired with Cozze al Pomodoro and Frittatine di Pasta also the 2015 Talamonti Tre Saggi Montepulciano d' Abruzzo paired with mini spaghetti with meatball and Gamberi al Rosmarino.
