Festival Banyuwangi Kuliner 2019 Presented Chef Vania Wibisono to Taste the Delicious Pecel Rawon

TIMESINDONESIA, BANYUWANGI – Chef Vania Wibisono, a popular chef which become one of the judge at a cooking competition on a national television of Indonesia attending the Festival Banyuwangi Kuliner 2019. This festival held a live cooking demonstration with a fusion menu. Pecel Rawon became the fusion dish on the demonstration.

Combining two menu which is rawon (dark beef soup) and pecel (vegetable salad with peanut sauce), pecel rawon has attempted chef Vania's heart. She was amazed by the unique and delicious taste created by those two food.

"Try not to overcook the veggies, lift them up before the color is change, to maintain the nutrition stay on the veggies, and for the beef do not put another ingredient like pineapple and else while u boil the beef to make it feel soften, just cook it longer to maintain the taste," Chef Vania gave said.

She was also enchanted to the beauty of Banyuwangi itself beside the food. However, food always become her main reason why she lives one place. On this occasion she also said that rujak (or fruit and veggie salad with peanut sauce) and nasi tempong (rice with traditional condiments) has become her main favourite food everytime she visit the city.

"The city is so beautiful, it's so clean and has lots of greenish scenery. I accidentally falling in love to this city once I step on my feet on the airport, and the society, they are very friendly to the newcomers," chef Vania Wibisono said on her visit to the Festival Banyuwangi Kuliner 2019.
