TIMESINDONESIA, MAGETAN – Culinary lovers, you should come to Sar Londho (Pasar Belanda) located in the area of Desa Candi Rejo, Magetan, East Java. In this place, you can enjoy various traditional culinary of Magetan, such as Nasi Menok, Nasi Pecel, and other delicious foods.

 “I think most visitors are still curious with Nasi Menok because it is getting hard to find,” said Susilowati, the seller of Nasi Menok at Sar Londho, on Sunday (21/04/2019).

Susi said that Nasi Menok is cooked with coconut milk. Then, it is wrapped with banana leaf and served with bothok (a traditional Javanese dish made from shredded coconut flesh which has been squeezed of its coconut milk).

Besides, there are various traditional snacks such as gethuk, cenil, lopis, jenang and so on.

The most interesting thing is that the visitors can enjoy the village atmosphere in Sar Londho as it has a thatched roof that makes everyone enjoy being there.

 “There are many interesting snacks in this place. I think this is a unique place as it resembles the markets at old times,” said Aldo Pramudya, one of the visitors at Sar Londho.
