Bali Gained IDR 309 B for Its Comodity Export on the First Three Months of 2019
TIMESINDONESIA, DENPASAR – On the first three months of 2019 all export commodities in Bali has reached IDR 309 B. It's such a remarkable achievement compared to what they got in 2018.
The mangosteen, snake fruits, neem leaves, weeds, orchid, swift's nest, silk cocoon, and snake skin became their main export commodities.
"We have exported around 631 ton of mangosteen for the last three months to China, its value was around IDR 45 B already," Imam Djajadi, the Head of Balai Besar Karantina Soekarno Hatta said.
Still according to him, most of the commodities were exported to China, Singapore, Timor Leste, Hongkong, Brazil, Japan, and German.
Meanwhile, the sandy snake fruits or salak gula pasir also becomes one of their big export commodity. It has reached 0.5 tons only for this March 2019.
In addition, the Bali Governor I Wayan Koster also appreciate the effort of agricultural development that been achieved by Bali.
"I hope that the tourism aspect in Bali could bring a good news to the export sectors," he said.
It such a remarkable achievement that the export commodities in Bali has reached IDR 309 B only for three months. (*)
