114 Million Chrysanthemum Stalks was Exported to Japan

TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Andi Amran Sulaiman, the Indonesian minister of agriculture officially released 114 million Chrysanthemums to be exported to Japan, along with 60 tons of black tea to Taiwan, Malaysia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Tajikistan.

According to the minister, as what President of Indonesia Joko Widodo said that Indonesia has so much potential to be world food barn by 2045.

"I feel optimistic about this, we have a great stake holder which willingly wanted to work hard to make this country to be a super power country especially about becoming the world's food barn," he said.

Still according to him, Indonesia has reached significant improvement on export. The export of food product especially corn has raised for 29 percent since 2014 to 2018.

The government also committed to help the farmers by delivering them with some government fund and bought them some sophisticated farming equipments. They also managed to clean the agricultural sector from the mafias.

The 114 million chrysanthemums which was exported to Japan was only one of millions ways in order to achieve Indonesia as the world food barn country. (*)
