Everything Has Its Limit, Even to Drink Coffee
TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – What will a day be without a cup of coffee in the morning? A weak day? Without a doubt, we’re addicted to coffee. But is that addiction healthy or unhealthy? And should you set a limit for it?
A heart specialist of Siloam Hospitals Lippo Village, Karawaci, Tangerang dr. Vito A. Damay, SpJP (K), MKes, FIHA,FICA said that coffee is allowed to drink even for those who suffer from heart disease.
"Its ok to take coffee, we believe two cup is enough in a day, however if you feel something awkward like your heart beating faster, feeling sick or had higher blood pressure, you need to stop it and check it to your doctor," he said.
Still according to him, if you suffered from heart attack you could chose coffee which contain no cream or sweetener. The calories in the sweetener will be bad for those who suffers from diabetes and heart disease.
So, if you love coffee, you better consume it in the right number, two cups a day is enough. And always check your health regularly to your doctor. (*)
