Koster Appreciates Smartfren Ways to Support Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali

TIMESINDONESIA, DENPASAR – Bali Governor Wayan Koster conveyed appreciation for smartfren support of the vision of Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali. Koster stated it in Wiswasabha Utama Building, the Office of Bali Governor, Thursday (14/2/19).

According to Koster, it is due to the work programs of Smartfren are relevant to the vision of Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali. Therefore, with the Smartfren’s support, the Provincial Government of Bali will install WiFi in all the customary village in Bali freely. Hopefully it will strengthen IT sectors in the customary village. So, the society isn’t only using it to access the information, but also to promote their works. Then, it will strengthen Bali from the sector of technology.

"I hope the range of the network can reach all of Bali without interference, with the presence of the internet in every village. I hope the younger generation can use it for positive things, to advance themselves, advance the community and build economic strength that is adapted to the character of each village," he said.

Meanwhile, the Deputy CEO Smartfren, Djoko Tata Ibrahim said that as one of telecommunication company, Smartfren very supports to the vision of Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali to keep the natural sustainability in Bali. It is proved by there are many relevant events executed by Smartfren.

Smartfren has carried out various activities to support the vision by distributing environmentally and friendly bags to subtitute of plastic bags with a total of up to 50,000, campaigning for anti-hoax and anti-drugs in 705 Banjars in Bali and distributing 100 WiFi modems to selected Banjar people.

"As a form of our support, a special product which was presented in Bali was also launched, namely the Kartu Perdana Bali. In which this card is presented  to facilitate the public to access information and to have communication in Bali," he said . (*)
