TIMESINDONESIA, MALANG – Goa Lowo or The Bat Cave was located on the coast of Bowele (Bolu-Bolu, Lenggoksono and Wedi Awu) ecotourism Purwodadi, Tirtoyudo, Malang.
This cave could be accessed by taking some local boats for 30 minutes. To get there the local tour guide must wait for a calm waves first. This wave movements could be checked by an app installed on their phone.
On the way to this cave there are lots of mesmerizing scenaries. The forest along the way to the cave make the trip become more amazing. The coral reefs that follows will enchant your eyes to not stop glancing their beauty.
This cave is 12 m height and 50 m depth. And the bat it self will give an exotic scenary in the evening. They willl came out through the cave door and circling the sky.
According to Mukhlis a local tour guide, he oftenly bring some photografer to the cave in the evening just to shot that scenary.
“I usually brought a photografer to shoot the moment when the bat came out from the cave in the evening, and sometimes some adrenalin challenge lover who love to do some cliff diving there,” Mukhlis said.
Still according to him, not only bats that lives there but also some snakes. However, this site will still be set as a tourist destination. But in one condition, all visitors must be accompanied by local tour guide.
Mr. Mukhlis which also the manager at Bowele ecotourism said that beside the beautiful bats scenenary in the evening, visitors could also do cliff diving to challenge their adrenalin at This Goa Lowo. (*)
