TIMESINDONESIA, TUBAN – The Tuban Department of Agriculture said that the farmer membership card or so they called as Kartani ( Kartu Tani) has been printed 90 Percent.
The Head of The department of Agriculture Murtiadji said that they couldn’t deliver them all because they still wait for the Kartani card from the Central government.
“In order to introduce the Kartani to the society, those cards should have been fully delivered. If it weren’t so, there will be some issues appear during the process of introducing it,” Murtadji said.
Its the Central Government who does the printing of the Kartani not the Local Government. That is why the Kartani has not been able to be fully delivered to the farmer.
“All the data has been 100% gathered and been transfered to Central Government. All we need to do is just waiting for the card from the Central government to arrive,” he added.
He also said that from more than 200.000 farmers registered for Kartani, its been more than 190.000 farmers that already hold the card by now.
“We have a target that it should be launched by this year, 2019,” he added.
The Tuban Department of Agriculture hopes and targeted that the Kartani will be able to be finished and delivered by this year.
