Menag RI Invites People to Revive their Sense of Humanity

TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Indonesian Minister of Religion (Minister of Religion), Lukman Hakim Saifuddin invites Muslims to emulate the leadership of the Prophet Muhammad who was full of love and positive energy.

According to the Minister of Religion, the commemoration of the birth or birthday of the Prophet Muhammad at this time was an effort or Ihtiar of people (Ummat) to express their gratitude, joy and love, because of the Prophet's great service for human and humanity.

"One of the secrets of the success of Prophet's preaching (dakwah) is leadership based on love for others, full of love and gentleness, in the frame of the spirit of brotherhood," said Minister of Religion.

The Minister of Religion said that love as shown by the Prophet will provide positive energy to follow in the footsteps of loved ones. Love is also what will merge in togetherness. According to him, gentle naturally is not a weak marker.

"In fact, there is stored strength there. Gentleness gives birth to sympathy, so that people will come closer and closer to him. The nature of love and gentleness of the Prophet becomes a magnet for many people. Even turning opponents into friends," he added.

The Minister of Religion added that one of the strong indicators of one's faith seen from a sense of social concern. True faith must be proven by love for others and respect for human values.

For this reason, through the spirit of the Maulid Nabi (The birth of Prophet) then the Indonesian Minister of Religion invites people to revive their sense of humanity. "Let us be religious with love and love for others. Religion without love doesn't meaning empty. Conversely, love without religion will not be happy forever," he concluded. (*)
