Instagram Makes Sophisticated Machine to Detect Fake Followers

TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Many transaction services of making 'followers' and 'likes' get Instagram take action. Now, the social media services aren’t  silent. Instagram will eradicate fake followers and fake 'likes' which as if they are active.

As reported by Tabloid Pulsa, Instagram says it has built a more sophisticated learning machine (AI) to identify accounts that use them and automatically delete ‘like’, ’follower’ and ‘comment’.

Every account identified using a third party application to boost popularity will be notified that fake 'like' has been deleted. They will also asked to change their password, and provide information if third-party applications have compromised the security of their account.

Although Instagram has had a long time trying to delete a fake account, the actions that will be taken this time will be different.

According to an Instagram press release, they plan to take more decisive action against fake activities, including fake 'followers' and fake 'likes' in the coming weeks. (*)
