Apple Removed WhatsApp Sticker on AppStore, Here's Why

TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Apple has removed all WhatsApp sticker applications from the App Store application store. So, The Apple users won’t find this application again. The reason is because the third-party application is considered to have violated the guidelines set by the iOS device manufacturer.

There are three reasons why did Apple delete the sticker applications on the App Store, said WaBetaInfo, observers of the WhatApp application that always accurately informs WhatsApp features, in a statement, quoted Monday.

Well, the reason was mainly because there were too many sticker applications with the same behavior, then needed to install of WA , the application shouldn't need other applications when used. Finally, the designs of the WhatsApp sticker applications are all the same.

Apple's actions certainly invited a lot of reactions from internet users, especially iOS users around the world.

Some responded disappointedly, but few people didn't support the removal of this sticker application. According to them, Telegram and the other message applications have their own platform for stickers, why doesn't WhatsApp do the same thing?

WhatsApp, which is now owned by Facebook, launched a sticker add feature on October 25, 2018 and added support for third-party sticker packages to allow designers and developers around the world to create stickers for WhatsApp.

Therefore, WhatsApp has included an API (application program interface) that allows everyone to create a sticker application that can be added to WhatsApp on Android or iOS.

However, Google is more permissive by allowing the WhatsApp sticker application to develop and mushroom in the Play Store app store. (*)
