Oh My Gethuk Serves Contemporary Gethuk with Exclusive Taste
TIMESINDONESIA, MALANG – Gethuk, a snack made of cassava becomes a contemporary snack in Oh My Gethuk.
The snack shop located in Jalan Ciliwung 57 G, Malang, East Java, serves contemporary gethuk that is different from the traditional one.
At Oh My Gethuk (OMG), the cassava snack is shaped into a roll cake with various tastes, such as chocolate, Milo, cheese, macchiato, and taro.
The contemporary shape and the delicious taste make the snack suitable for a snack for guests, social gathering, meeting, and as a souvenir.
Diva Velda Hanifa, the owner of Oh My Gethuk, explained that she had a different way to make the gethuk so that it could be more delicious and special.
“Besides, the roll shape and the soft texture make the gethuk become the people’s favorite,” she said on Saturday (3/11/2018).
Diva explained that Gethuk Milo is a combination of soft chocolate gethuk and vanilla with the thick melting chocolate topping.
Gethuk Macchiato is a combination of Gethuk Mocca and Vanilla with premium chocolate topping and almond.
“Gethuk Taro is a combination of cassava and yam with Taro Sprinkle topping. Gethuk Cheese is a combination of Gethuk cream cheese and Gethuk vanilla with the topping of white chocolate and grated cheese,” she explained.
According to Diva Velda Hanifa, the most favorite menu was Gethuk Milo and Gethuk Cheese.
This snack could be refrigerated for 3 to 4 days.
