BI Corner Community Cooperates with UIN Malang to Talk about Banking

TIMESINDONESIA, MALANG – BI Corner Community of Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Library held a talk show named BI Corner Challenge 2. This event was held in the hall on the 4th fall of Rumah Singgah PPs of UIN Malang on Thursday (11/10/2018).

This event was attended by the Rector of UIN Malang, Prof Dr Abdul Haris, the Head of UIN Malang Library, the Vice Rector 1 of Economic Faculty, and the Head of Payment System, Management, and Administration Service Representative of Bank Indonesia Malang.

The Head of the Library of UIN Malang, Faiz Izzudin, explained that this talk show was a form of real cooperation and support in financial or immaterial things done by BI towards economy and banking.

“This cooperation is not done as the resources, but there are also many positive activities, such as discussions or competitions,” he said.

Rini Mustika Ningsih, the Head of Payment System, Management, and Administration Service Representative of Bank Indonesia Malang, explained that BI Corner Challenge 2 Talk Show was a regular event held by BI Corner Community of UIN Malang Library which had been cooperated by Bank Indonesia since 2017.

“This activity aims to support the digital economic study and research as well as to improve the participation and the creativity of UIN Malang students, especially the students of Economic Faculty,” she said.

Prof Abdul Haris supported this talk show, and he hoped that this event would strengthen the entrepreneurship and civitas of the campus, as well as to develop the economy.

“I hope this event with BI Corner Community could give a significant positive impact as well as to grow the entrepreneurial spirit of the students at UIN Malang,” said the Rector of this green campus. (*)
