TIMESINDONESIA, BONDOWOSO – A cycling community will run a race game in Asmoro Peak at Banyuwangi, East Java this month.
This 4th series of cycling event with BMB will be held on 21st October 2018 with the total prize of millions rupiahs. Besides, there are also hundreds of door prizes that will enliven the event.
Not only Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 (Untag) Banyuwangi that becomes the sponsor, but there are some corporates becoming the sponsors in this event. They had held a preparation meeting with all the committees of Sego Anget at Osing Deles Café.
Sonny T. Danaparamita, the head of honorary council of Perpenas, said that Untag fully supported this kind of positive event.
“I always see communality in every cycling club, and it is something that is needed by all the social relations in our society nowadays,” he said on Wednesday (10/10/2018).
His team also said that Indonesia would be more beautiful and stronger if the people are engaged in communality. “There is a proverb saying, ‘We are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided’. This value should be spread more in this society,” he said.
Meanwhile, the committee of Sego Anget also agreed with Sonny’s statement as they knew that the political situation and the society relation are not good on these days. It was marked with the existence of hate speeches, hoaxes, and curses, particularly in social media.
This community was built from the hobby of cycling in October 2016. Then, they named it Sego Anget.
This community consists of the owners of small and medium enterprises, professionals, entrepreneurs, bureaucrats, and so on.
According to the explanation of the founding father, Sego Anget is an acronym of Seduluran Gowes Akeh Keringet that also has philosophical meaning.
Sego Anget (warm rice) means that the warmth in their friendship is believed to become a great energy in their daily life, which resembles the carbohydrate from a plate of rice that could be the main source of energy for human beings.
The race game held in Asmoro Peak Banyuwangi, East Java, was also supported by Untag 1945 Banyuwangi. It is expected that they could reach the people from all over Indonesia. (*)
