Jokowi - KH Ma'ruf Pair Wins the Survey Based on LSI

TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – The results of the Indonesia Survey Circle (LSI) Denny JA survey, which released that the results of a survey on the electability of two candidates for Presidential Candidates in the 2019 Presidential Election, Jokowi-KH Ma'ruf Amin candidates pair outperformed Prabowo Subianto and Sandiaga Uno with 52.2 percent.

"Jokowi-Ma'ruf is 52.2 percent, Prabowo-Sandi is 29.5 percent. Meanwhile, as many as 18.3 percent are secret or doesn't yet decided," said LSI researcher of Denny JA, Adjie Alfaraby at the LSI Office, Rawamangun, East Jakarta, Tuesday (8/21/2018).

According to Adjie, Jokowi-Ma'ruf's electability had now reached the magic number. Because the electability has reached 50 percent. "The Jokowi-KH Ma'ruf pair has achieved the magic number because of the electability is reaching 50 percent," he said.

It is known that the Denny JA LSI survey was carried out using multistage random sampling method on 1,200 respondents from August 12-19, 2018. The method of face-to-face interviews with a margin of error was approximately 2.9 percent. The Jokowi-KH Makruf Amin pair wasn't overtaken by the Prabowo-Sandi pair. (*)
