Asian Games 2018 was Officially Opened by The President Jokowi

TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – President Joko Widodo officially opened the 2018 Asian Games at the Stadium of Gelora Bung Karno (SGBK), Jakarta on Saturday (08/18/2018).

"On behalf of all the people of Indonesia we are proud, we are honored the arrival of special guests from 45 countries," said Jokowi who stood side by side with Vice President Jusuf Kalla at the Bung Karno Main Stadium, Senayan, Jakarta, Saturday (08/18/2018).

Jokowi said the Asian Games show a sense of brotherhood, a sense of unity between countries in Asia. All achievement countries, according to Jokowi have the same goal of pursuing achievements.

"By saying the bismillahirrahmanirrokhiim the 18th Asian Games in 2018 I stated that it is opened," said Jokowi, greeted by a standing ovation.
