Presidential Election 2019: The Survey's Results of LSI Denny JA as Follows

TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Institute Survey LSI Denny JA released again a survey about the 2019 presidential election, in Jakarta on Tuesday (17/07/2018). This time the survey carried the big theme "The Decreased of Pro-Pancasila and Hope on the Presidential Candidate".

There is an interesting thing in the LSI's survey this time. One of them, this survey is trying to capture what is expected from the figure of President and Vice President elected in 2019.

"The majority of the public wants the Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates who have discourse about the issue of Nationality and Togetherness."

It is about 75.3 percent of respondents to the candidate leaders of this country which have discourse a number of programs that have been made and included in the socialization.

In addition, 64.2 percent of respondents also did not want the presidential election 2019 later separate again due to religious issues as happened in the case of elections DKI Jakarta 2017 ago.

"The majority of the public want presidential and vice president to reduce the discourse that can divide the community."

Another thing from the findings of this survey is that 86.7 percent stated that it is necessary to have a joint, powerful forum that specifically works on issues and practices of nationality and togetherness in the country.

The public hopes that the elected leaders in the 2019 presidential election can realize the presence of the joint forum.

Therefore, the collection of LSI Denny JA survey data was conducted from June 28 to July 5, 2018. Sampling method was done by multistage random sampling with the number of respondents as many as 1200 respondents. The margin of error is 2.9 percent. (*)
