TIMESINDONESIA, MALANG – Unique meatball is now present again, enlivening the culinary industry in Malang City. The shape of meatball which is identical to the shape of a ball, is modified into a roll shape at Kedai Andromeda Bakso Gulung (ABG).
The stall located in Guntur Rd 21, Malang City, East Java, offers various types of rolled meatball with an affordable price.
"There are seven variants of rolled meatballs with the price starting from IDR 5,000 to IDR 6,000," said the Marketing Communication of Kedai Andromeda Bakso Gulung, Bhadrika Nandi Wardhana, when he was encountered by TIMES Indonesia, Wednesday (16/5/2018).
Dhana mentioned, that the mainstay of seven rolled meatballs in his stall was original, seaweed, cheese, sausage, egg, spicy, and chocolate. This variations can be steamed or fried according to the customers taste, complete with the filling of the meatball, such as tofu, rice cake, or vegetables.
Anton Harimurti, The owner and the chef of ABG, said, that the initial inspiration of this rolled meatball was from his desire to create a meatball with seaweed filling. However, his attempt to make it was unsuccessful.
It is very difficult to make seaweed meatball, but finally we found the way by rolling it. It initiated this rolled meatball, he explained.
Anton mentioned that he chose seaweed as the rolled meatball filling because seaweed has many benefits, especially for male stamina.
For that reason, Anton and his family created a business of Kedai Andromeda Bakso Gulung on 26th April 2018. That's good culinary industry in Malang City. (*)
