The Animated Film "Incredibles 2" is Ruling The Box Office

TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – The film "Incredibles 2", is ruling at the North American box office. This animated sequel featuring the super hero family of Disney-Pixar has earned a record $ 180 million debut.

Quoted from AFP, it is the highest earning from the early screenings of animated films in the US and Canada. The achievement of Incredibles 2 easily surpassed the 135 million US debut of Finding Dory (2016) in which from the same studio output.

Incredibles 2 tells of the Parr family. Well, Helen (Holly Hunter), the mother, is asked to help cleaning the super hero's name to work under legal status, and her husband Bob (Craig T. Nelson) replaces his wife as the person who takes care of the household with their three children.

After "Incredibles 2", the box office's second place was "Ocean's 8" with 19.6 million US dollars in the second week. Furthermore, the comedy "Tag" came in third with $ 14.6 million, then followed by "Solo: A Star Wars Story" with 9.1 million US dollars, making its total revenue in North America nearly reaches 200 million US dollars.
