TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is back on the red carpet of the 70th Cannes Film Festival in a spectacular gown that has everyone swooning over her. The former beauty queen is all set to present 'Devdas' once again at the prestigious event fifteen years after its release.

She walked the red carpet in a stunning off shoulder red dress with a layered skirt and a long trail.

On her second day at the 70th Cannes Film Festival, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan donned a black off-shoulder gown and threw in a dash of colour with orange lips and bright blue eyes. In pictures that are doing the rounds of the internet, the timeless diva is soaking in the sun by the French Riviera.

On her first day at Cannes, Aishwarya was busy setting the red carpet ablaze and looking every bit gorgeous, which prompted a note of admiration from her husband Abhishek Bachchan, who is back home in India. Aishwarya's five-year-old daughter Aaradhya is keeping her company at Cannes.

In the build-up to her red carpet appearance, Aishwarya chose a sheer green, multi-layered dress with big bright flower motif for her media appearances. She went on to let her hair down for the look and completed it with some bling on her left hand.

While Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is a Cannes veteran, her five-year-old daughter, Aaradhya, is on her way to become one too. This year is Aaradhya's sixth visit to the Cannes Film Festival after she accompanied Aishwarya to the international film festival every year since she was born. Ash took Aaradhya out about town for a customary tour of the French town.

Aishwarya arrived in France on Thursday, a day before her red carpet appearance at Cannes. The ‘Sarbjit’ actress was spotted entering her hotel with daughter Aaradhya holding on to her little satchel and smiling for the camera.
